Photograph a receipt and take over the prices
Take a photo of the receipt and Zettelchen reads the lines, matches them to your items and remembers the prices.
How it works
- Photograph the receipt or pick an image. The text recognition runs in your browser.
- In the review view you see every line read and whether the total adds up. Fix anything misread and add missing lines.
- Lines are matched to your items. What Zettelchen has learned once is recognised straight away on the next receipt.
- Prices show on the item with store and date, also as a price history.
Spending at a glance
The statistics show your spending per month, per store and per category, plus the number of shops and the average. The total printed on the receipt counts.
Your photo stays with you
The photo never leaves your device. Only the store with address, date and time, the total, the lines with price and the match to your items are stored. Card details, receipt numbers and the rest of the receipt text are not stored. The text recognition is tuned for German receipts.
Good photos
The receipt should lie flat, be evenly lit and fill the picture, one receipt per photo. The sharper the photo, the less you have to correct.
